Shea-Porter Campaign Releases Debate Schedule

Rochester, NH— Today, the Carol Shea-Porter campaign released its 2016 debate schedule. Shea-Porter plans to participate in five debates and three forums.

  • Thursday, October 13: New Hampshire Fire Chiefs Forum
  • Wednesday, October 19: Manchester Chamber of Commerce Debate
  • Monday, October 24: AARP Forum
  • Monday, October 24:  NH1 Debate
  • Thursday, October 27: NHPR Exchange Forum
  • Sunday, October 30: Temple Adath Yeshurun Debate
  • Monday, Oct. 31: Mt. Washington Valley Economic Council Debate
  • Thursday, November 3: WMUR Debate

“Carol has committed to 5 Debates and 3 Forums for the 2016 cycle. We hope that Mr. Guinta decides to appear at debates this year.  He has a long history of skipping debates- even ones he’d previously committed to. Mr. Guinta skipped the debate at RiverWoods Retirement Community in 2014.  Mr. Guinta skipped the debates in 2010 and 2012 at the Temple Adath Yeshurun in his hometown of Manchester.  Mr. Guinta skipped his primary debate with the SeacoastRepublican Women in 2012. He also did not participate in a debate in Conway in 2010, even though he was in Conway on that day.  Shea-Porter looks forward to debating Frank Guinta and to holding him accountable for his constant lies to New Hampshire voters and his out-of-touch record. Voters know that Frank Guinta is unable to defend his record of breaking the law and accepting illegal campaign contributions and lying about it for five years.  And they know that the former head of the NH GOP has brought new charges for recent actions. He also has a long record of voting against the middle class, veterans, seniors, students, women, and people struggling with addiction disorders. Carol looks forward to discussing his appalling record,” said Shea-Porter spokeswoman Naomi Andrews.
